FROM THE BUDA-SIDE GERBEAUD: WHERE WE STARTED AND WHERE WE’RE GOING

Émile was launched as the little sibling of the renowned Gerbeaud Café, named after the famous confectioner Emil Gerbeaud. The original aim was to create a Buda-side location where fine cuisine, desserts, quality service, a cozy atmosphere, and elegance come together. We chose an iconic villa in Pasarét, where it soon became clear: more than just a restaurant, Émile is a lifestyle and a true hidden gem.

After starting with a fine dining concept, Émile has evolved into a multifunctional brunch & lunch space where guest experience comes first.

10 YEARS AS A “LOCAL FAVOURITE IN BUDA”

It had long been our dream to create a true local favorite in Buda. In autumn 2014, we found this stunning villa in Pasarét, built between 1921 and 1928, and opened our doors in 2015.
In summer, relax in the shade of the cabanas; in winter, warm up with comfy armchairs and a hearty broth.
